Making the Citrus Syrup: Place every items inside a saucepan, heat until it reaches a simmer, mixing so the sugar melts. Then, turn off the burner and leave to cool completely. Decant into a clean bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the fridge, it can be stored for about a month.
For the Premix: Mix the specified spirits and syrup into one big jug, let it rest for an hour, then pass it through preferably using muslin, so it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Measure 85ml from the premix into a stirring glass filled with ice, gently stirring carefully for a minute to cool it down. Strain into a cold coupe glass or equivalent, garnish with the cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the top.
